Welcome to the Nation's Capitol

Washington, DC or District of Columbia is the capital of the United States.  Home to major tourist attractions and national monuments including the White House, Washington Monument, United States Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, National Mall and the Smithsonian Institute. DC’s Union Station is known as the grand ceremonial train station and is the most visited destination in Washington, DC with over 40 million visitors a year.  It is a premier shopping mall as well, featuring world class upscale shopping.  Union Station serves as a venue for exhibitions and international cultural events making it the perfect indoor location for your next brand activation. DC is home to one of the largest concentrations of colleges and universities in the world including the famous Georgetown neighborhood.  If reaching college students is the goal of your experiential event, then DC should be top of your market list!

National Cherry Blossom Festival: 
The three-week, citywide festival celebrates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees to Washington, DC by the mayor of Tokyo. Cultural performances, food and music come together.

White House Easter Egg Roll:
Children frolic on the South Lawn with the First Family, searching for wooden eggs and joining in an Easter celebration at the Ellipse. 

Independence Day Festivities:
More than 100 marching band units step out at noon along Constitution Avenue for the Fourth of July parade. 

National Christmas Tree Lighting:
​The National Christmas Tree Lighting takes place in early December on the Ellipse and is hosted by the president and First Family.

Crystal City Shops
This underground shopping emporium has it all and serves as one of Crystal City's top destinations. 

Tysons Corner Center
This center is one of the largest shopping malls in the United States. 

Fashion Centre at Pentagon City
Located in Arlington, Va., just outside the nation's capital, this shopping destination has more than 170 stores to tempt your wallet and bank account.

Gallery Place
Have some time before an event at the Verizon Center? Head to Gallery Place located next to the entertainment venue for a little retail therapy in the Chinatown neighborhood. 

National Harbor Shopping
