Known worldwide as the City By The Bay, San Francisco is famous for it’s beautiful vistas and waterfront.  San Francisco is an ideal location for a brand to make an impact with an experiential event or activation.  Waterfront locations such as Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 attract tourist and locals alike making these areas perfect for brand activations.  San Francisco is known for it’s comfortable, year-round temperate weather, famous landmarks including Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge and the largest Chinatown in the country. The historic center of the city is anchored by Market Street with iconic cable cars riding people up the steep streets of San Francisco into Nob Hill.  Union Square is the center of San Franisco’s hotel and shopping districts. Union Square Plaza is one of the largest collections of department stores, upscale boutiques, art galleries and salons in the United States which make it a major tourist draw and cosmopolitan place in Downtown San Francisco making it the perfect location for an outdoor event. Home to many start-ups including Airbnb, Craigslist, Reddit, Yelp and Uber make San Francisco the technology capital of the world drawing many young workers from across the United States to this booming economy.  AT&T Park, home to MLB’s San Francisco Giants, is a popular high traffic location for your next outdoor experiential event. Justin Herman Plaza and Embarcadero Plaza are excellent event locations.  San Francisco’s beautiful parks including Jefferson Square Park, Lafayette Park and Washington Square Park are excellent locations for your next event or brand activation reaching an active, local audience enjoying their beautiful city.  
 

 

Annual Events

Mavericks Big Wave Surf Competition
Takes place at any time from the beginning of December to the end of March, and perhaps even on only 24 hours notice, the world’s greatest big-wave surfers descend upon the frigid waters of Half Moon Bay.

Chinese New Year Festival and Parade
The largest celebration of Asian culture outside Asia, and offers one of the last remaining night time, illuminated parades in the USA. 

St Patrick’s Day Parade
Shaky Town’s St Patrick’s Day Parade attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year and has become one of the main San Francisco California US events. 

San Francisco Flower and Garden Show

Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival

Attracting more than 200,000 visitors every year.
 
International Lao New Year Festival 

San Francisco Bay to Breakers Footrace

Established a hundred years ago, the San Francisco Bay to Breakers Footrace, one of the world's largest footrace with over 65,000 runners in costume.

Landmark Embarcadero Center
The Landmark Embarcadero Center is an underutilized downtown shopping area, often overshadowed by The Westfield Mall and Union Square. 

Crocker Galleria
A favorite among discerning San Francisco shoppers, this mall's selection includes 40 high-end stores showcasing classic designer creations. 

Ferry Building Marketplace
Although a lot of the Ferry Builiding's artisanal shops are inside, many booths also spring up outside on the weekends to take advantage of the the Ferry Buildings glorious location right on San Francisco Bay with a view of both the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge. 

Westfield San Francisco Centre
One of the best shopping malls in San Francisco, Westfield Centre is ideally located just two blocks from Union Square and features more than 170 alluring boutiques.
