Offering a great mix of high profile plazas, parks, commuter hubs and private venues, Atlanta has something to offer most marketers. Atlanta is the capital of and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia, with an estimated 2015 population of 463,878. Atlanta is the cultural and economic center of the Atlanta metropolitan area, home to 5,710,795 people and the ninth largest metropolitan area in the United States. Today, Atlanta is the major commercial and transportation hub of the southeast United States, and its international airport is one of the busiest in the world. The city's economy is led by the service, communications, retail trade, manufacturing, finance, and insurance industries. The convention business is also important, and Atlanta is home to many major corporations, including Coca-Cola, which was founded there in 1892. Atlanta is also a major educational center, with many prestigious universities and colleges, including Emory University (1836), Georgia Institute of Technology (1885), and Georgia State University (1913). Morehouse College (1867), Spelman College (1881), and Clark Atlanta University (1865; 1869) are important historically black colleges. Major attractions include Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historic Site, Grant Park, and the Carter Presidential Center. The 1996 Summer Olympics were held in Atlanta.

Chomp & Stomp
Part bluegrass concert and part chili cook-off, Chomp and Stomp is a daylong celebration in Atlanta's Cabbagetown neighborhood.
Decatur Book Festival
The largest independent book festival in the county, this rewarding event brings 300+ authors to venues around Decatur's downtown square for signings, readings, panels, and much more.
Dragon Con
Held over Labor Day weekend at a cluster of downtown hotels, Dragon Con is the world's largest fantasy/sci-fi convention.
Peachtree Road Race
Held every 4th of July, this Atlanta institution is the largest 10k in the country.
Shaky Knees
Atlanta's newest music festival zeroes in on the indie rock and Americana genres, featuring bands like The National, Band of Horses, and Modest Mouse.
Flux Night
For one night only, the streets and empty spaces of the neighborhood are filled with projections, performances and music.
HOToberFest
It's the country's largest consumer-judged competition for craft beers.
Inman Park Festival
During the last full weekend in April each year, Inman Park presents a neighborhood festival widely regarded as Atlanta’s most spirited and eclectic event.
Atlanta Jazz Festival
Featuring an annual musical showcase including show-stopping performances at Piedmont Park, the festival presents famous jazz legends and up-and-coming jazz greats.
Yellow Daisy Festival
Early September in Stone Mountain Park. One of the top three arts & crafts shows in the USA-the 4-day Yellow Daisy Festival attracts more than 200,000 visitors.
Atlanta Pride
The Southeast’s largest Pride Festival, and one of the city’s biggest annual events, Atlanta Pride attracts more than 300,000 participants.

Kirkwood:
Kirkwood is an Atlanta neighborhood just east of downtown. With its convenient location and craftsman-style homes, the area has been experiencing rapid growth in recent years.
Marietta:
Marietta, located in Cobb County just north of Atlanta, is one of Atlanta's largest and most well-known suburbs.
East Lake:
East Lake is the eastern most neighborhood in Atlanta, nudging up against Decatur and Oakhurst. In recent years it has been revitalized and become a national model for ending urban poverty. Now home to classic bungalows and a luxury golf club.
East Atlanta Village:
Located just east of downtown, is an funky, eclectic neighborhood with shops, restaurants and nightlife. The area attracts the young and the young at heart looking for an area with a unique spirit.
